White Knuckle Ride

A dozen fearless staff from Hatchers recently took part in a day’s white water rafting through the Vale of Llangollen on the River Dee. The river is famed for it’s chilling ‘Tombstone Weir’, ‘Middle Stropper’ and ‘Factory Falls’, but undeterred the intrepid team of explorers somehow managed to survive to tell the tale.
The events organiser, Matthew Bowering, a solicitor from the Commercial Property Team was pleased with how the day unfolded, he said, “It seemed like a good idea and I thought that my colleagues would like to join in with the fun.”
“Aside from getting a little bit wet, I think everyone that took part enjoyed themselves”, Matthew concluded.
We’re now wondering where Matthew is planning to go for the next adventure – who knows, it may even be the Grand Canyon.
